Rainbow Bead necklace

Colour, at last. Small glass beads in mixed shades sit along a fine gold plated chain, spaced with short runs of chain between them so the piece stays light and keeps moving. It sits close to the neck like a choker but reads far softer, because the beads break the line instead of forming a solid band across it.

How to wear it

This is the daytime piece in the range. It lifts a white kurta, a linen shirt or anything otherwise plain, and it is one of the very few necklaces that survives a busy print instead of arguing with it. Keep earrings small when you wear it, the colour is already doing enough on its own.

Good to know

Glass beads have more weight and a better depth of colour than the acrylic ones this style is usually made in. Glass also chips if it is knocked against a hard edge, so this is a piece to take off before it goes loose in a bag.

Care

Keep it away from perfume, lotion and water, wipe it with a soft cloth after wearing, and store it in the pouch it arrives in. Plated jewellery lasts far longer when it is kept dry.
